I do not like I do not like green shrimp and spam! er... well actually, lol, i LOVE green thai curry shrimp. And I know i'm supposed to hate spam. With a passion! grrrr... But...what actually IS spam? Anyone got a useful definition of it? Here lemme try...I've always found spam to simply be a post made by someone that simply doesn't connect or is not understood. Does that make sense? If you've posted a piece and it doesn't "connect" (lol, notice the purposely vague use of that word  ) it can mean so many things like:1-wrong language? (leet) 2-lack of interest (debatable) 3-wrong area of the forum (eveyone makes mistakes) 4-poster not cool enuff and so noone wants to post to his thread(really...does this happen?  )Connecting means there's a lack of appreciation goin on on teh part of the reader/listener. Does this mean that the post was bad or not good? Instantly judging it to be worthy of it's place in the spam can? Or...is it because of a lack of literacy, compassion...lol, perhaps even intelligence on the part of the reader! So...what... is spam?  gogo p.s. *puts on the hard hat and gets ready to duck* |
